Better late than never – Peak Grass Growing Season has arrived.

It never ceases to amaze me the effect that good rain has on grass. Two weeks ago I was seriously having trouble seeing which sections of lawn I had mowed. Today I was mowing nice lush thick green grass. And it goes to show what all the sterilisation of our drinking water really does. Nothing beats a good long soaking of rain. The fertiliser is really kicking in now too which is great news.

It really makes me feel good to see the results of my labour when the grass starts looking so good. You really need to keep on top of things now as far as lawn mowing is concerned. It’s finally the time of year where if you leave your lawns a week too long you will have a fight on your hands. We’re finally in the heart of grass growing season. And the grass will start growing like crazy for the next few weeks. It’s gonna be a nice green Christmas this year for sure!
